Lorie has been my daughter's piano and vocal teacher for more than 6 years now and she brings passion to every lesson and interaction they have together. She instills and nurtures love and curiosity for music in a way that is genuine. She herself strives to continue learning so that she can impart her knowledge onto her students. Lorie has been so instrumental in my personal growth in a music career as she taught me both how to play the piano, and got me on my feet to become a voice teacher. She was so encouraging, patient and really caring in catering specifically what it was I wanted to learn.

On the piano she simplified things, and made what I thought was impossible, possible. With the skills she taught me on the piano, this opened the doors to become a voice teacher. While I had the liberty to structure how I would teach my voice lessons, anytime I needed any advice, she was always so generous in offering me guidance to boost my confidence when I needed it, as well as giving me resources that would ensure the lessons I offered my students were the best they could be.

While I am forever grateful for the knowledge and kindness passed on to me by Lorie, I continuously see how much growth the rest of her students have also achieved, while also completely adoring her as a teacher and friend.

Lorie is an exceptional teacher and has became more like an older sister figure to me. She has a fun and informative teaching style, the most divine voice, and a great personality. She puts her heart and soul into our lessons, selecting songs and giving me advice and fine tuning. Lorie’s kind and gentle persona makes it not at all hard to believe she is also a nurse when she is not teaching and performing on her own time which she does exceptionally well! Lorie has helped me truly love performing and singing as much as I do now!

Our daughter has been taking singing and piano lessons with Lorie for over 5 years. Lorie is so talented and is a very passionate teacher and mentor. She takes the time to tailor her teaching specific to each student based on their interested and personality. We have seen our daughter grow so much in her ability and confidence while working with Lorie. We would (and have) recommend Lorie to anyone and feel very lucky to have her in our lives.
